About Me
I am a Professor of philosophy and Director of the USM’s Office of Research Integrity. My background is in ethics and research ethics in particular. Recent co-authored publications include “Fairness and COVID: Conducting Research During the Crisis” (Accountability in Research, 2023) and “Principal Investigators ’Priorities and Perceived Barriers and Facilitators When Making Decisions About Conducting Essential Research in the COVID-19 Pandemic” (Science and Engineering Ethics 2023). I have a wonderful wife, Jennifer, two great kids, and I am a professional musician.
