Brief Case History

Robert Simon Jr. was convicted of three counts of capital murder for the deaths of Bobbie, Carl, and Gregory Parker whose bodies were discovered with gunshot wounds and evidence of smoke inhalation inside their house that had caught fire. Robert Simon and Anthony Carr were arrested after the Parker’s stolen vehicle was found outside the home of Simon’s mother-in-law along with stolen weapons that had been used in the Parkers’ shooting. A witness identified Simon as the man who had stolen from the Parkers previously and more of the Parkers’ belongings were subsequently found in Simon’s residence.
