Thong Le was convicted of killing three people in 2001.  He and an accomplice broke into the victims’ home aiming to steal $1,300 and then killed Minh Hieu Thi Huynh and her two daughters. Le claimed to have participated only in the robbery but not the killings, but after his co-conspirator, Ngen Tran, committed suicide in Jackson County Jail in 2002, Le was left to stand trial alone.
